{Dear Diary} Fidelity

I guess I take fidelity a lot more seriously than I initially thought.

I completely understand and agree with the line in Two Can Play That Game where Gabrielle Union tells LL Cool J, “Love is a choice. You made your choice. You stole mine.”

I feel like a lot of people are out here stealing people’s choices. If you aren’t ready for a relationship but enter into one with no intentions of leaving behind your single privileges, you are STEALING CHOICES. This particularly bothers me when married men come at me stupid then act stupid when I call them on their shit. Why is it that I don’t have to know your wife to not want to hurt her but what she might feel doesn’t seem to phase you in the least?

I feel like a broken record because we’ve all heard this before and I’m pretty sure I’ve said it a few or hundred times. I just ask that people in relationships respect their relationship and their partner.
